Apple Crumble

This traditional pudding is absolutely delicious. A great comfort food and really easy to make

Ingredients - Serves 4

  • 125grams of hard brown sugar
  • 125grams of butter
  • 250grams of gluten free flour
  • Stewed fruit, such as apples


Sieve the flour into a bowl, then add the sugar. Rub the flour, sugar and butter together until they have made large breadcrumbs. You can add one or two spoonfuls of flour to the mix if you find your breadcrumbs a little large.

Sprinkle the crumble mix over your stewed apples, making sure that you have more fruit than crumble mix.

Put in oven at 180°C for at least 15minutes, you can also toast it under the grill if required

Serve with ice-cream or custard. This dish can look really great in individual serving bowls

Top Tip

Always make sure that you have more fruit than crumble mix.
